At Carolina Palm Vacations, we invite you to come Enjoy Paradise and look forward to serving all of your vacation needs. Below is a list of common guest questions. Please feel free to contact us directly via email with additional inquiries.
- WHEN IS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT?
Check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 10:00 a.m. No early check-in or late check-out. Please plan accordingly or consider adding an extra night to your stay. Email [email protected] no later than two days before requested upgrade to reserve.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CHECK-IN & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS?
A: Guests will receive their final confirmation via email 3 days before check-in. This email will include all the information you will need for arrival, including instructions for retrieving the keys, the property address, and Wi-Fi wireless internet login/password. If the property requires any parking and/or pool passes, these will be located in the property on arrival.
VRBO and Airbnb bookings will also have arrival details on those sites. For VRBO, log in and go to My Trips. For Airbnb, log in and go to My Trips and then Directions.
WHERE DO I CHECK IN?
A: Many properties including the beach houses offer direct express check-in, where guests continue directly to the property any time after 4:00 p.m. Our other properties instead have 24/7 key pick-up at the Carolina Palm office.
DO YOU OFFER VACATION ITEMS FOR RENT SUCH AS BEACH CHAIRS, GOLF CARTS, BICYCLES, ETC.
A: Vacation items can be rented at www.vacationgear.com, and they will deliver the items to you. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys etc. can also be purchased at the many beach wear stores in town, at Walmart, and at grocery stores. The lifeguards of North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach also offer beach chair and umbrella rental by the day and week. These are wooden chairs and umbrellas that they set up for you each day and take down for you each evening.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO UPON DEPARTURE?
A: Key items include removing all garbage and food, collecting all linens and towels in foyer for cleaning service, and locking doors and windows. Detailed information will be emailed to you with your arrival instructions 3 days before your check-in date. There is a also checklist of these items and details at the property for guests’ added convenience. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL DEPARTURE PROCEDURES TO AVOID ADDITIONAL FEES. $150 INCONVENIENCE FEE IF PROPERTY IS STILL OCCUPIED WHEN HOUSEKEEPERS ARRIVE.
ARE LINENS & TOWELS PROVIDED?
A: Yes, sheets and towels for all beds and baths are provided for all reservations. This includes sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and kitchen/dish towels. Guests should supply their own beach towels as linens are not permitted to be taken out of the property.
CAN CAROLINA PALM ASSIST ME WITH BUYING OR SELLING A BEACH HOME?
A: Yes, Carolina Palm is a fully licensed real estate company and will be happy to assist guests in purchasing or selling their investment property.
WHEN IS MY FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
A: Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and can be made any time. For reservations booked directly with Carolina Palm, payment will be automatically charged 30 days prior to arrival. For stays booked through VRBO, HomeAway, and AirBNB, please complete your final payment on time through their site.
DO YOU OFFER FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS?
A: Yes, Carolina Palm is happy to work out alternate payment plans with our guests for times when the standard payment plan is not convenient. This includes additional payments and paying with multiple cards. Please contact us to coordinate.
