House Rules for Your Vacation



 
Complimentary wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is provided in all properties.  Should issues arise, unplug the router, wait 2 minutes, then plug it back in.  Do not push the reset button.  If problem persists please contact us.

Smoking is not allowed at any properties.  Smoking can and will result in additional fines.
Pets are allowed at some of our beach houses.  Pets are not allowed at condos due to HOA policies (except for Beach Haven, which is pet friendly).  Each property web site will show if it is pet friendly or not.  Pet fee applies.  Please confirm prior to arrival as certain restrictions apply.  Renter responsible for pet damage and for cleaning up after pet in yard.

Parking passes and/or pool passes/bands are only required for some properties. If they are required, they will be in the unit upon arrival.
If applicable, renters must display parking pass at all times.  Failure to display may result in fine or towing of vehicle at renter’s expense.  Leave parking passes on kitchen counter upon departure.  Please contact guest services if passes are missing or more are needed.

Motorcycles, golf carts, and trailers are allowed at all beach houses and townhouses.  Villa/Condo HOA policies vary, check prior to arrival.  Renter responsible for verification.

Renters must adhere to all posted signs, placards, and rules at the property (including pool, parking areas, etc.)

With any reservation, there must be at least one adult at least 25 years old staying on property at all times except for the following properties, which have a minimum renter age of 21:

SHORE HOUSE I, SHORE HOUSE II, AND SHORE HOUSE COMPLEX
SUN'S OUT BEACH HOUSE
MAI THAI'D BEACH HOUSE
Guest for these must have adult at least 21 years old staying on property at all times.

All charges accrued during stay must be paid prior to departure.
If the owner (or representative of the owner), the local/state law enforcement, or the security company employed by the property evicts Renter and/or their guests, then additional charges may occur and there will be no refund.
The total number of occupants cannot exceed the total number that can be slept in beds (1 per single; 2 per twin, queen, king, and sleeper sofa).
While linens and bath towels are included in the unit (provided linen fee is not waived), there is no daily maid service.  We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit.  Towels are not to be hung from railings.

Upon departure Renter is required to:
♦   Bag and remove all food and garbage. 
♦   PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: Clean up after pet in yard at all times.

♦   Close and lock all windows and doors.  Turn off all lights and TVs.
♦   KEYS: 
           ♦    Keyless entry properties: Use keypad to lock door. 
           ♦    Lockboxes: Return keys to lockbox where retrieved upon arrival. 
           ♦    Office pickup: Leave keys on kitchen counter.
           ♦    For properties with parking passes, pool passes, pool bands, etc. provided on arrival, leave ALL items on kitchen counter.  

♦   Wash all dishes and put away neatly in kitchen cabinets.
♦   Collect all towels, & linens and leave in entryway for cleaning service.  Leave all sheets and bedding on the beds.
♦   In summer, set thermostat to 75 degrees.  In fall/winter, set to 65 degrees.

Failure to follow these procedures will result in additional charges to the Renter.

Rates are subject to change without notice until reservation is secured.

Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of any and all payments, and the party will not be allowed to check-in.
Carolina Palm Realty has the right to cancel and/or move any reservation at any time in the event of unforeseen circumstances where the property becomes unavailable or uninhabitable (ex: pipe breaks and unit floods).  If cancellation is made prior to check-in date, Carolina Palm Realty will refund in full.  If cancellation is made during stay, Carolina Palm Realty will refund on a pro rata basis. 
Standard cancellation rules apply for shortened stays or cancellations due to natural disasters including but not limited to hurricanes, storms, tornados, and floods.  It is recommended that the Renter purchases travel insurance if s/he so desires.  Refunds will be issued during natural disasters only if evacuation is issued.
 
For all reservations, Renter understands that card may be charged in addition to the total bill if the above terms are not met and/or expenses not covered under Accidental Damage Protection policy are incurred.
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
